A product line is a group of products that a company creates under one brand and are all related to certain attributes such as function, physical appearance, price, quality, or customer types. A company can have multiple product lines and have them under different brand names in order to differentiate price, quality, country, or targeted demographic. Companies can add to their existing product lines once consumers become familiar with the brand, since consumers are more likely to buy from brands they already know.
